The Universe Inside Out

Companion open-science archive for the YouTube channel Theoretically Not A Physicist (@TNaPhysicist): a visual & computational exploration of whether empty space, flowing time, quantum entanglement, Dark Matter, and Dark Energy can be re-imagined as one timeless standing-wave fabric balanced across a smooth central Big Bang waist—developed openly by David Stoler with multi-agent Gemini Argon inside Google Antigravity.

Transparency First & Responsible AI in Science

Why We Built This—and How to Read It Responsibly

I am not a professional physicist. I am an independent builder and outside-the-box thinker who wanted to explore a set of physical intuitions about time, gravity, and quantum mechanics using modern multi-agent AI tools—specifically Gemini Argon inside Google Antigravity.

Using AI to explore deep scientific questions is intellectually thrilling and deeply educational—provided we stay grounded, cautious, and transparent. Modern AI agents are extraordinary mathematical synthesizers, and if you don't hold them to strict scrutiny, it is very easy to confuse a simplified Python model with a proven, peer-reviewed law of nature. We refuse to pretend this is settled science or hide where the math is incomplete.

Right or wrong, building and stress-testing this project with real scientific libraries (Astropy, galpy, Google Cirq / qsim, QuTiP, and py-pde) has taught me a tremendous amount. Every write-up, Python script, test screenshot, literature parallel, and unsolved flaw is published openly here so students, physicists, and skeptics can scrutinize it and tell us what we missed.

The Four Plain-English Pillars of the Model

Before diving into tensor equations or Python scripts, our exploration connects four core ideas:

1. One Continuous Woven Fabric (Zero Empty Space)

Instead of treating space as an empty black stage populated by separate particle marbles, 3D space itself emerges from quantum entanglement correlations, while matter particles are modeled as localized standing-wave vibrations and topological knots (ω_0 = m_0 c^2 / ℏ) of that single medium.

2. Timeless Standing-Wave Tapestry, Living Memory & Observer Channels

A vinyl record sitting in a sleeve has complex grooves, yet nothing happens without a needle—and putting a motor outside the universe would require a second time outside time. Globally, nothing moves (||J|Ψ⟩|| = 0): all vibrations sit frozen like ripples in a 3D glass sculpture. Perspective itself is the needle—conditioning the fabric from inside any embedded observer channel produces living motion while thermodynamic memory sets its one-way arrow.

3. Self-Balanced Two-Wing Cosmic Hourglass

Rather than bolting spacetime to an external 5th-dimensional frame or assuming a miraculous low-entropy start, two symmetric chaotic wings pull in equal-and-opposite balance across a smooth central Big Bang waist (Net Waist Force = 0), while both outer rims level off naturally at the 100% entanglement scrambling ceiling.

4. Silk-Weave Horizon Tension & Galaxy Suburbs

Close to the Sun, steep Newtonian gravity dominates deep-space background tension by tens of millions of times. Far out in quiet galaxy outskirts (g < a_0 = c H_0 / (√3 π)), background horizon fabric tension takes over—holding orbiting stars in flat rotation curves with zero Dark Matter particles.

Updated Conceptual Synthesis

Deepening "Living Memory": Observer Channels, Entanglement & the Planck Thread Pitch

How pushing past our initial "memory in neurons" draft sharpened four foundational questions:

Why "Neurons Storing Memories" Needed the Perspective Channel

Our earliest draft explained the feeling of flowing time purely through thermodynamic memory—noting that brain cells at slice #100 only hold records of lower-entropy slices closer to the Big Bang waist. While that explains direction, it left a glaring gap: a closed comic book or unspun vinyl record already contains complex stored patterns, yet nothing is happening.

By uniting our complex-time model with the laboratory-tested Page–Wootters mechanism (Moreva et al. 2013), we eliminate the need for an outside motor: every vibration ever played is frozen into one static standing-wave tapestry, and tuning into an embedded perspective ("Observer Channel A" vs. "Observer Channel B") reveals genuine oscillatory motion. Because every observer knot is woven into the exact same single fabric, Channel A and Channel B agree on 100% of shared events (0.00 cross-channel discrepancy in QuTiP) with zero multiverse timelines required.

Entanglement Weaves Space • The Planck Length Is Thread Pitch

Entanglement Without Spooky Signals: Standard intuition pictures empty 3D space first, making quantum entanglement look like faster-than-light radio signals. Here, entanglement is primitive: feeding 512 coordinate-free quantum nodes into a Quantum Mutual Information graph reconstructs 3D Euclidean geometry automatically (r = 0.983). Entangled particles miles apart remain two ends of one shared V-cone twist anchored at their birth (0.00 superluminal signaling leak).

The Planck Length (1.616 × 10−35 m): Rather than tiny relativity-breaking pixels sitting inside space, the Planck length is the weave's Nyquist thread pitch where 3D space smoothly dissolves (3.04D → 0.06D → 0D). Ripples simply cannot have a wavelength shorter than the spacing between correlation threads—naturally cutting off fatal ultraviolet infinities.

Solving the 2D Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation: a normal linear quantum wave disperses and fades, while a nonlinear fabric knot self-traps cleanly. In head-on crashes, fast Bullet-Cluster pleats pass right through each other, while ultra-slow dwarf collisions (~14 km/s) exhibit sideways splash—an honest, falsifiable prediction!

Disagree With a Step? Spot a Fatal Flaw? Tell Us!

Science advances by trying hard to break ideas—not by protecting them. Whether you are a cosmologist, quantum foundations researcher, graduate student, software engineer, or curious viewer, we welcome blunt, constructive critique on any claim in Episode 0, our Scientific Workbench tests, or Rounds 1–8:

  • Can the two-wing catenoid waist survive a full CLASS / CAMB 2,500-multipole acoustic peak calculation?
  • Do observed slow dwarf-galaxy mergers already rule out—or show hints of—the 2D NLSE sideways pleat splash seen in Test Plate 2?
  • Does the static Bose–Einstein Unruh screening develop instabilities when promoted to a full 3D relativistic tensor solver?
  • Are there sharper experimental falsification tests we should run next?
